Baking, Ukrainian and Portuguese top the list of new classes in Lewiston Adult Education’s fall brochure.
The brochure has gone out to general delivery mail customers in Lewiston and Auburn area. Students may also register on Lewiston Adult Education’s website, www.lewiston.maineadulted.com.
Lorelei Greenwood-Jones will teach about bread shaping and scones. Bengui Sauca will teach Portuguese. Tetiana Cherednichenko will help students with Ukrainian conversation.
Nick Noyes has become the instructor for a new standup comedy class. It will be held at Craft Brew Underground in Auburn, which is where students will also perform their first show.
The brochure includes many popular teachers. Marisa Deku will return for two Swedish Weaving classes. Becki Leighton shall teach Power Stretch and Chair Zumba. Rosa Storer will lead Livin’ It Up Line Dancing and Disco Dance Off.
One job training class, workplace technology certification, has an early start. The computer lessons are set to begin in September start.
